Floods caused by heavy rains have killed more than 1,100 people in Pakistan.
Last week, record heavy rains fell mainly in northwestern areas of Pakistan near the border with Afghanistan.
The number of deaths due to floods is expected to rise because the damage level in some areas is unknown.
The United Nations says at least one million people have been affected by the heavy rains.
It says many people have lost their homes, and that food and water are running short. The UN also says hygiene conditions have worsened, and that some people are showing signs of diarrhea.
Pakistan is receiving emergency aid from international donors. The United States has decided to provide 10 million dollars, and China about 1.5 million dollars.
