Sony releases Internet TV sets in US
Sony will release in the US a lineup of televisions that let viewers access the Internet while they watch programs.
The major Japanese electronics maker announced in New York on Tuesday that the Internet TVs, jointly developed with search engine giant Google, come with its Android operating system.
Four models with screen sizes from 24 to 46 inches will hit the US market on Saturday. The 46-inch unit is priced at 1,400 dollars.
Viewers can search for and view online content on the TVs by using a remote control fitted with a keyboard.
