Pakar (?) dari UKM tahu tak dah naik ke level 5? Semua negara lain tu negara yang ada Reaktor Nuklear. Apakah dia fahami isu yang hendak dibawa sekarang? Nak beritahu sekadar kena kebocoran macam Jepun tu small matter> untuk mengiakan atau memberi thumbs up kepada reaktor nuklear negara kah?

Malaysia Bebas Daripada Penyebaran Radiasi

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia bebas daripada sebarang kesan penyebaran radioaktif akibat daripada kebakaran loji reaktor nuklear di Fukushima, Jepun.

Menurut Pensyarah Jabatan Sains Nuklear Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Datuk Dr Sukiman Sarmani, kesan penyebaran radioaktif hanya berlaku pada radius tiga kilometer dari loji reaktor nuklear terbabit.

"Jika dilihat apa yang berlaku di Jepun ketika ini penyebaran radioaktif di tahap empat dan ia masih lagi terkawal.

More foreign nationals advised to leave Japan

More foreign nationals are advised to leave Japan temporarily in response to the nuclear crisis at a power plant in Fukushima Prefecture, northeast of Tokyo.

The US State Department began operating chartered aircraft on Thursday night for family members of government officials and other American citizens who wish to leave Tokyo. The US military also plans to arrange chartered jets for families of troops stationed in Japan.

The British government is calling on its nationals in Tokyo and areas to the north of the capital to consider leaving Japan. It's chartering airplanes for those who cannot get tickets for regular flights.

The Russian government says it will have family members of staff at its Embassy and Consulates General depart from Japan by the end of this week.

The governments of Germany, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Switzerland, and Sweden are also calling on their citizens to leave Japan.

SEMINGGU TAK DAPAT BLOGGING.

Selepas beberapa kali tertangguh dan terbatal, gua dengan rasa rendah diri dan gumbiranya membawa keluarga dan bonda bercuti-cuti ke Jakarta/Bandung dalam cuti musim persekolahan ini yang akan berakhir pada Ahad ini.

Nak buat camne? Cuba cuti-cuti dalam negeri tengok? Dah lah hotel susah nak dapat, semedangnya penuh (betul ke?) lepas tu School Holiday rate pulak lagi - up lagi ntah berapa banyak. Hotel pulak berlagak bangang anggap pelancung tempatan ni sama level dengan pelancung asing. Cuba pi Langkawi tengok. Kos bercuti di Langkawi terutamanya hotel mahal giler. Orang tempatan  pun mengeluh rega naik melambung. (Sebagai perbandingan Indonesia mengggunakan harga hotel yang berbeza untuk pelancung dan warga tempatan)

Nak harap kementerian pelancungan atau menteri buat sesuatu? Poodah !. Macam dulu kalau nak masuk ke Taman Burung ada rate local dengan pelancung. Sekarang aku tak tahu sebab dah lama tak pergi tapi kali terakhir pergi dah takde rate untuk tempatan dah.

Jangan salahkan rakyat Malaysia berbelanja ke Indonesia, Vietnam atau China sebab Menteri syok sendiri ni susah sikit. Bukan reti nak dengar nasihat atau pendapat. Teringat bercuti selama 3H2M di A Famosa, Melaka. Duit hotel/apartment saja boleh bayar 3 malam di Indonesia. Apa ada kat A Famosa? Japan scrambles to stop nuclear accidents

TOKYO - Japan scrambled Saturday to prevent nuclear accidents at two atomic plants where reactor cooling systems failed after a massive earthquake, as it evacuated tens of thousands of residents.

Radiation 1,000 times above normal was detected in the control room of one plant, although authorities said levels outside the facility's gates were only eight times above normal, spelling "no immediate health hazard".

The two nuclear plants affected are the Fukushima No. 1 and No. 2 plants, both located about 250 kilometres (160 miles) northeast of greater Tokyo, an urban area of 30 million people.

A total of 45,000 people living within a 10-kilometre (six-mile) radius of the No. 1 plant were told to evacuate -- raising the number from the fewer than 6,000 people within three kilometres told to leave Friday.

Japan's Prime Minister Naoto Kan early on Saturday morning left on a helicopter ride to Fukushima to assess the situation at the plants operated by Tokyo Electric Power, and at other areas in the disaster zone.

When Friday's massive quake hit, the plants were immediately shut down, along with others in quake-hit parts of Japan, as they are designed to do -- but the No. 1 plant's cooling system failed, the government said.

When reactors shut down, cooling systems must kick in to bring down the very high temperatures. These systems are powered by either the external electricity grid, backup generators or batteries.

This is key to prevent a "nuclear meltdown" and radioactive release.

When Japan on Friday received news of troubles at the Fukushima No. 1 plant, it dispatched around 160 military personnel there, sending its chemical corps and an aircraft on a "fact-finding mission".

The US Air Force, which has many bases in Japan, delivered coolant to a Japanese nuclear plant, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Friday, without specifying which plant. 

Japan's nuclear safety agency early Saturday said it was due to issue an unprecedented order for Tokyo Electric Power to open a valve at the No. 1 plant to release pressure, which may emit radioactive vapour, Kyodo News reported.

On Saturday morning, Tokyo Electric Power said that its No. 2 plant was also experiencing reactor cooling problems, Kyodo News reported, prompting Japan to order evacuation for residents within 3km of the plant.

The UN's International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Japanese officials had kept it informed of their efforts to restore power to the cooling systems while monitoring a pressure build-up.

Kan had at first, on Friday afternoon, said no radiation leaks were among the country's reactors after the massive 8.9-magnitude 

earthquake struck triggering huge tsunamis.

According to the industry ministry, 11 nuclear reactors automatically shut down at the Onagawa plant, the Fukushima No. 1 and No. 2 plants and the Tokai No. 2 plant after the strongest earthquake ever to hit the country.

Japan -- located on the "Pacific Ring of Fire," where several continental plates meet and create a string of volcanoes and seismic hot spots -- records 20 per cent of the world's major earthquakes.

As an industrial powerhouse nation poor in energy resources, Japan also draws about 30 per cent of its total power from its 53 nuclear plants.

More than 442 believed dead in quake

The scale of the death and destruction following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan is growing worse by the hour. 242 people have been confirmed dead and at least 200 others are believed to be dead.

On top of that, more than 740 people are missing in several prefectures in the country's northeast.

Police say 200 to 300 unidentified bodies have been found in the city of Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture. A tsunami made its way 10 kilometers inland from the coast. 53 people have been confirmed dead in the prefecture.

In Kesennuma City, a major fire has engulfed wide areas facing the bay. The Fire and Disaster Management Agency says the flames may have been sparked after oil ran out of a tank following a tsunami.

In Iwate Prefecture, 74 people have been confirmed dead. Police there say more than 130 are missing, mainly in coastal areas. The government says the city of Rikuzen-takata is nearly devastated.

In Fukushima Prefecture, 83 people are reported to have been killed and more than 480 are missing.

In Aomori Prefecture, 2 people are missing in Hachinohe City. The scope of the damage by a tsunami there is not yet known.

At least 28 people have been confirmed dead in Tokyo and neighboring prefectures.

In the Japanese capital, 2 people were killed after a building partially collapsed. Another 2 died from inhaling chemicals at a plant.

ISU JUDI : TIADA RASA MALUKAH MEREKA?

Datuk Mohd Shamsudin sebagai ketua pembangkang yang menggantikan Dr. Khir Toyo adakah bersifat sekadar hanya hendak membangkang? Bagaimana pula dengan komen oleh TPM serta MCA terhadap tindakan kerajaan Kelantan? Kenapa tiada komen? Adakah sindrom bisu melanda? 

Datuk Rahman Patail sebagai bekas EXCO Agama Islam pula apakah tindakan yang telah diambil semasa beliau menjadi Exco? Berapa jumlah pusat perjudian yang telah diarahkan tutup samada halal (?) atau haram?

Lupa pula - perjudian HALAL disisi BN jadi kedua-duanya tidak memberi sebarang komen berkaitan judi dan lesen judi.

Isu diKelantan yang menjadi perdebatan oleh MCA dan mendapat komen dari TPM melibatkan 'LESEN LOTERI(JUDI) TERSEBUT DIKELUARKAN SECARA SAH OLEH KERAJAAN PERSEKUTUAN MENURUT UNDANG-UNDANG' maka Kerajaan Kelantan TIDAK BERHAK mengambil tindakan terhadap penjual atau premis yang menjual lotery (judi tersebut) kerana ianya sudah DIHALALKAN.

Dan mereka berdua mengatakan PAS mengambil pendirian politik dalam isu judi ini.
